and reported about what volleyball did for the country in the last
three years at all levels including the gold medal of the 2005
Mediterranean Games in Spain when Egypt had become the first ever
African team to win an international competition.

the journalists who followed up the ceremony that he will continue
his hard work to gain more achievements for Africa through his
position as CAVB president with the help of the International
Volleyball Federation (FIVB) led by the president Dr. Ruben Acosta.
“To get this order from the Egyptian president is a great honor to
volleyball and to me and this gives me a big energy to continue
working in the same spirit for our beloved sport.” Elwani said.
